I love the the tones of brown and gold in this painting.  The colors are very relaxing and calm.  This painting is the perfect gift for a couple getting married, or for their anniversary!  It features the couple's last name and monogram, and the year they were married in.

Wine Buckets

I found these great wine buckets/ice coolers..(whatever you want to call them!)..at Old Time Pottery.  They are the perfect size to paint a little monogram on it and fill it up with goodies to hand off to a loved one! :)

Even though this painting is very simple.. it was hard to do!  This was created for a sweet 95 year old woman!  So far, all of my paintings have been for younger people and are bright, colorful, and glittery!  I think this painting turned out sweet and sophisticated!

This painting was created for a sweet baby who is getting baptized on Sunday morning!  It is my boyfriend's little cousin and she is such an adorable baby.  I also saved the invitation and glued it on the back, so she will always be able to have a little keepsake!

Jungle Land II

As I had said before, I would post the finished canvas for the Jungle Land.  It turned out great!  I added the baby's monograms and I added 'date', 'weight', 'time', and 'length' in the larger bubbles.  The only thing left is for the baby to arrive and add in the rest of the information in the bubbles!

Jungle Land

This canvas was painted for a new baby that is to arrive in December.  The canvas is not yet finished, but I wanted to go ahead and post it because I thought it turned out so cute!  The bedding, Jungle Land, came from Lambs Ivy.  I am going to add the baby weight, length, time, and date in the larger polka dots and the monogram in the middle.  Pictures of the finished canvas will be posted! :)

"A Night in Paris!"

This canvas was created for a girl who loves to travel! She's been all around the world, including Paris (I'm jealous!). I decided to focus on Paris for her canvas, painting the Eiffel Tower. I wanted it to have the essence of night time in Paris, with the rhinestones being stars. I think it turned out cute, and I love the colors!

A couple of weeks ago, I did another giveaway on http://dottydotdotdesign1.blogspot.com/, and this painting is for the winner, Amber! Her husband is in the Navy, so she requested her painting to be something patriotic with her two sons names on it! She left the design up to me, and this is what I came up with! It is hard to see because of the camera glare, but each column is lined with tiny light blue dots.

Congrats on the win Amber, hope you enjoy! :)

Jordan

These groups of paintings were created for my little cousin, Jordan! She is a freshman in high school and is going through rush for one of their sororities. She has to take gifts to her three 'big sisters' for the next few weeks and decided she wanted to take canvases to them. The colors of their sorority are colbalt blue, light blue, and silver. Have fun with the rest of rush Jordan! :)

Ryan & Hannah

These two 16x20 canvases were created for a good friend of mine that I used to dance with. This week is her and her boyfriends one year anniversary! Her boyfriend decided to surprise her with a couple of paintings! For the first one, he wanted one with their names on it and for the second one, he wanted her to pick it out. So I had to come up with a way to find out which paintings she really liked without her finding out what was going on! I told her I was asking my friends which paintings were their favorites for information for my website. She chose this 'messy' cross style. Ryan let me know the colors of her dorm room, and this is what I came up with!

Happy Anniversary Ryan and Hannah! Hope ya'll enjoy!

Old to New!

This canvas was an old, scratched up picture of the New York skyline. I decided to restore it, just by painting black paint on it. Surprisingly, it was very easy to cover up! Next..I just bought a Cricut machine and wanted to try it out! And I have to say that I LOVE it! Last, but not least, to celebrate Alabama's first victory of the season (thats taking us to number 14! :)..I had to do a Roll Tide!

"Taylor"

This painting was created for a little girl whose mom works with mine. She is 12, so she is in those tween years, but her mom did not want anything too childish for her! I decided to go with the diamonds..I thought they were cute, but not "too cute!" Her room is light pink and zebra, so I just had to get zebra in there somewhere! :)

Gracie & Addie

These 8x8's were created for two sisters, Gracie and Addie!

I love the baby blue and brown together in this one!

Addie's nickname is "Addie Bug," so of course I had to incorporate bugs on this canvas!
Very simple and sweet!

"MWB"

This painting was created for a friend whose younger sister is going off to college soon! The painting was done in the colors of the school: navy blue and yellow, with daisies added. I used a glitter finish on the letters and the middle of the flowers, just to add a little touch. It turned out very cute! Thanks Helen! :)

Initials

These 8x8 canvases were created for the kids at the daycare that I work at. I used the kids favorite colors and their first name initial. There is only 1 boy in the class, so his was a very simple canvas, where the girls canvases were very glitter-fied! :) I used a glittery finish on the initial and the polka dots, and I also added two rhinestones. They are very simple, but yet, cute canvases!
