Garden Themed

This painting was inspired by a set of garden themed dinnerware that my mom bought!  You can check them out here, they are adorable!  Garden Dinnerware Set.  I wanted to try one out to see how it'd turn out, I think it is pretty cute!  I had originally planned on creating a set of four, like the four dishes, each in a different color background and flowers.  And I will get to that..eventually!  But until then, here is my one :)

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend..I sure have!

I feel like I have been surrounded by babies lately, and I LOVE it!  I got the greatest news last night, my brother and sister-in-law are expecting their first first niece/nephew!  I am beyond thrilled, excited, and happy for the both of them.  Plus, this means that I can paint like crazy for the baby!

Speaking of baby's, this painting was created for a friend's newest little cousin!  The walls in her room are a pale purple, with distressed black, gray, light pink, and khaki colors.  I absolutely love these color combinations together!  I tried out a new layout with this painting.  I've done many paintings with one frame, but I've been wanting to try out two frames, one with polka dots, and one with stripes.  I think it turned out great, and I can't wait to do more of these!

Happy Saturday!

One of my good friends in education ordered this canvas for one of her little nieces.  She decided that since it as for a little girl, to change up the football, so we thought elephants would be cute!  I actually got the design of this elephant off of a tote bag that I had..just changed the colors around!  I think I could almost do this canvas set up in my sleep, I've done so many in the past few days!

Hip Hop

This canvas was requested by a good friend of mine who is in their teaching internship along with me!  She requested a pink and green canvas with a frog on it for her aunt, who is a teacher as well.  I have always loved the colors pink and green together and I have been wanting someone to request those colors for a very long time, so I was so excited to do this canvas!  These personalized canvases are great for a teacher to hang on their door or inside their classroom!  I know that my classroom will be full of canvases!
