This has become one of my favorite cross designs. I think it looks great in any room in a house! I am excited to paint this in bright and fun colors with some funky ribbon!

I created this gift set for one of my little cousins..she is my only girl cousin, so I am always using new ideas on her! Her room colors are orange, pink, yellow, red, and purple, such cute colors. I decided to get crafty and make her a couple of her things for her room. A while ago, I played around with ribbon wreaths, and they turned out very cute. I took pieces of ribbon and cloth and attached them to a 14'' ring. I added a larger initial in the wreath so it would stand out better (originally I had a smaller and lighter purple "J." I also created her a canvas with her name on it. I painted it on a 12x24 canvas, so its a nice size canvas. I think this little gift set turned out so cute! It is a great addition to any boy or girls room!

These Alabama canvases are on a roll! This painting was created for a teacher at a local elementary school. She is a huge sports fan, especially when it comes to the Tide!
I spent all last weekend catching up on orders, so I am ready to take on more!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

My first painting I ever created was a cross, so I naturally love painting crosses! They are so pretty, especially with the right color combination. I decided to change up one of my designs a little bit and I love it! I kept the polka dots and the outlining of the cross the same, but I added the ribbon in the middle of the cross, because I LOVE ribbon! (When I go to Hobby Lobby, and I am picking out my ribbon..I will stand there for a good 10 minutes picking out the perfect pattern to match my painting) But with this painting, I kept it simple. Usually I add a ribbon to hang the canvas, but I thought it might be a tad too much to have ribbon on top AND ribbon in the middle..but who knows, it might actually look pretty good! (I also just didn't have a ribbon that matched well with these colors!)
Also, if you remember from my last post, I am working on a set of four 8x8 canvases from the Laurie Gate dinnerware that my mom purchased. Well here is #2!
